As adviser of the Cardinal News, Linda Barrington obviously loves journalism. Even more, she loves teaching kids. She is obsessive about AP style, loves layout and design and, believe it or not, hates grading essays. Like many of her students, she's over-committed and hasn't learned how to say no. Welcome to her world.

Because of taking journalism class and joining the staff her sophomore year, senior Sarah Johnson fell in love with every aspect of creating a newspaper. This year, she serves as the Editor-in-Chief, along with being the News Editor. Sarah enjoys writing the most but wants to develop her photo-journalism and advertising skills. Besides from the Cardinal News, she is president of both Student Council and Red Arrow. Other extra-curricular activities include National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society and Quill & Scroll. In addition, she works part-time at the Rosebud Cinema Drafthouse.

Anna Joranger is a senior and has been working on the Cardinal News staff for three years; it is her second year as feature editor. Other notable activities for her are the Tosa East Players, choir and forensics.

Alan Gerber is neither Stalinist nor Jim Voss. He does many exciting jobs for the newspaper all the time.

Emily Thomasis a junior who enjoys continuing the In-Depth tradition of speaking in Spanish at random intervals. Apart from the paper, she?s the vice president of Student Play Festival and the Parnassus In Print writing group.

David Seitz is the Opinions/Editorials editor.

Jason Quist is the sports editor of the Cardinal News.

Kadie K. Seitz was born late one stormy night in April. Since this event, the world has never been the same. Her life was ordinary until one day during her freshman year of attendance at Wauwatosa East High School, when one Mrs. Linda Barrington chose her to become the first sophomore photography editor. And thus, life comes full circle.
