Chefs cook up their competition
When asked the question, “What is a wine vinegar, aged in wooden barrels, dark brown color, with a sweet taste?” the team composed of senior Steve Constantine and juniors Dan Wesley and Maelyn Geisthardt knew the answer was balsamic vinegar. That was one of the multiple questions that the team representing Wauwatosa East answered correctly in the ProStart Student Invitational hosted by the Wisconsin Restaurant Expo on March 14.
