Respite Care: Volunteers give parents break by spending time with children
On a Saturday, children’s laughter could be heard throughout the cafeteria, gym and learning center. Children practiced a poms routine with the Red Raiderettes, listened to a trio of musicans who sang and played the piano and played games with their volunteers as part of the Respite Care Day. Children’s Service Society of Wisconsin (CSSW) sponsored the program on Nov. 5.
