Cardinal News About Us Page
Elaina Meier has been interested in journalism since high school. When she attended East, she was the Editor-in-chief. She is our leader.

News co-editor
Emily Kesner, a junior, has been on the staff of the Cardinal News since her freshman year. She is excited to be an editor this year and looks forward to two more wonderful years on CN. That is, if she doesn't have a self-induced mental breakdown before graduation in 2008. In her spare time, Emily baby-sits, goes shopping and enjoys random moments of insanity with her friends after eating too many Skittles. She is also involved in Key Club, German Club, German Honor Society, National Honor Society, the Writing Center, Quill and Scroll and band, where she plays the flute. Emily is also a skilled baker, except when Elizabeth Stein is involved.
Colleen O'Conor is a junior and the co-news editor. She has way too much energy, and enjoys eating and playing the radio at an embarrassingly high volume when Elizabeth Stein is driving. She is awesome.

Tommy Doyle is the feature editor for cardinal news
Brittaney Check is the Photography editor for the cardinal news

Kate Rogers is the In-Depth Editor
Emily Thomasis a junior who enjoys continuing the In-Depth tradition of speaking in Spanish at random intervals. Apart from the paper, she?s the vice president of Student Play Festival and the Parnassus In Print writing group.
John Deisinger is the Opinions/Editorials editor.

Junior
Elizabeth Stein is the sports editor of
Cardinal News. When she joined the staff as a reporter freshman year,
she considered it merely an extracurricular; however, now she realizes
that the newspaper has already taken over her life (although she is
involved in many other things).

Isaac Alghoosen is the Editor-in-chief/copy editor for the Cardinal News. He has been on the newspaper staff since his freshman year. He is undoubtedly the most Arab staff member. Besides working on the newspaper, Isaac is in many other extracurricular activities such as band, student council and the bowling league. He enjoys long walks on the beach and has a passionate relationship with Nick Van Derven.
Nick Van Derven joined the staff of the CN as webmaster intern his junior year. He is now the webmaster for the CNOnline website.
Nate Deisinger joined the paper at the end of the 06-07 school year as a webmaster intern. He has since taken over the website. He may or may not be involved with various computer problems around the school.
